Our new stingray-effect leathers come from one of Italy’s premium Tanneries for embossing life-like exotic skin stamps onto calf leather to replicate the look of python, crocodile, stingray and lizard precious leathers. Querida Srl is based in Tuscany and we are proud to provide our customers with the authentic look of precious exotic leathers without actually using any, supporting our values of using Luxury for Good™.

Seek advice from an expert before attempting anything yourself. Protect your shoe against water and dirt with a protective silicon-free guard. Repeat this regularly to avoid having to clean your shoes. If you do have to clean them, don’t wait too long and use a special cleaning bar or brush to gently remove dust and dirt as well as brushing up and restoring the natural nap of the Nubuck. Cleaning is an irreversible process and therefore, thorough consideration should be made before any such attempt. Avoid contact with water, heat, perfume and cleaning agent.

Meet the Maker

Mirage Calzature are based in Fermo in the Marche region of central Italy and are lead by master shoemaker Ernesto. Mirage is a family run business making exquisite shoes for the past five decades. Ernesto, together with his brother Dante (below), have their son's Danilo and Giancarlo respectively leading Mirage Calzature into the future.

How to find your shoe size:

The easiest way is to place a sheet of paper against a wall and place your foot on the sheet with the back of your heel touching the wall. It is best to wear socks that you would normally wear with your shoes and put full weight on your foot. Draw a line at the end of your foot and measure the distance with a ruler.
