IMjiT35020 - MASTER TAILOR (DENIM)

Our jeans have been handcrafted with attention to the smallest detail by the Venetian tailors of Denim, Laboratorio IMjiT 35020. IMJIT35020 is lead by Loreta Giorgio and her son Manuel Canova. They are both highly skilled tailors and have a small family-run atelier in Due Carrare, Padova.  The Italian selvedge denim fabric is weaved at the Berto mill, just six kilometres from our atelier.

“We make no sacrifices for the ultimate and highest quality, while remaining faithful to the traditional methodology and techniques of tailored denim.”
Manuel Canova

LABORATORIO IMjiT35020 is an artisan atelier which is highly sought-after by the aficionados of denim. They carefully choose projects which they associate their skill and knowledge with in order to preserve their fundamental values of Italian craftsmanship .
Mother and son enthusiastically support projects and brands which match with their own dedicated set of artisanal values: “No sacrifices for the ultimate and highest quality, while remaining faithful to the traditional methodology and techniques of tailored denim.”

We are proud to partner with Loreta and Manuel and share their story. All of our jeans are co-branded with the name of the master artisans who stitched them and finished them with love.

Denim Fabric

Ever since their first production of fabric for the sail boats of nearby Venice, Berto Textiles have been able to travel in many sectors, conquering them with modern and innovative craftsmanship.

Their bond with the Veneto territory is water tight, just like the ship sails they originally produced. With production well over six million meters a year they service and support to the majority of luxury and denim brands who seek out the finest fabric quality. They have embraced the Crafted Society core values and supported us in our desire to create a uniquely customised version of their highest quality 12oz selvedge denim. A denim industry leader, they pride themselves on their ethical and sustainable approach to innovation within the sector, as well as their inherent respect for tradition, while providing modern and technologically-enhanced textiles.
