From Wednesday Nov 27th through December 24th do not expect any discounts from Crafted Society. No Black Friday, Cyber Monday or Christmas steal deals. ‘Discounts do not fit with our company vision. Our prices are built in such a way that everyone receives a fair piece of the retail price. If we did offer discounts then somewhere in our supply chain someone would be short-changed. This is why we will not join this circus’, said Lise Bonnet, co-founder of Crafted Society. Together with husband Martin Johnston, the pair started their Crafted Society vision in 2016. They focused on strengthening and platforming their Italian grandmasters of limited edition leather sneakers, leather bags, small leather goods and cashmere scarves and blankets, so that more awareness is provided to the real heroes of luxury. In providing this access, the pair ensure that the hidden masters and their crafts are taken out of the shadows and placed back into the limelight to help inspire the next generations of the value of craftsmanship and excellence.

Charity Partner Holiday season 2019: Charlie Braveheart
Johnston and Bonnet normally pledge 1% of their global turnover towards a good cause. ‘In the period of the upcoming holiday season – from 27 November including 24 December – we are raising our pledge from 1% to 5%. As a conscious consumer, there is no better way to show your support of a good cause.’ The good cause we have chosen to partner with this Holiday season is Charlie Braveheart. The foundation was started by the international artist and jewellery designer Bibi Van Der Velden and was formed to remove the pain and stress that can accompany a prolonged hospital stay for sick children. Van Der Velden knows acutely from her foundation the necessity of educating the next generation of caregivers on the subject. Partnering with likeminded organizations supports our mission of using luxury for good™ and gives extra energy.’ Bonnet said.

About Bibi Van Der Velden
Artistic sensibility is woven into Bibi’s background. Born in New York and raised in England and the Netherlands, Bibi studied fine arts in Florence, Italy, before honing her eye at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague. Bibi now creates jewellery and sculptures from her studio in Amsterdam.

About Charlie Braveheart
Charlie Braveheart foundation believes in the importance of reducing stress and pain during hospital treatments for children. Thereby diminishing traumatic experiences. Charlie Braveheart was started by the international jewellery designer and artist Bibi Van Der Velden and her parents when her own daughter, Charlie, experienced a prolonged period in an Amsterdam hospital after being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
